Well-known stock market analyst and NYU Stern Graduate School of Business professor Robert H. Stovall, a part-time Sarasota resident, is changing jobs.

His position as senior vice president at Prudential Securities in NYC has been eliminated as part of the company's ongoing reductions in force.

He plans to establish Stovall Advisors LLC, where he will focus on teaching, speaking, writing and advisory services. He also intends to remain active in the media. He has been a frequent panelist on the "Wall Street Week" TV show on PBS.

Stovall will continue as an adjunct professor of finance at NYU's Stern Graduate School of Business and as a regular lecturer at Stetson University's Roland George Investments Program.
